Reactivity: (Homo sapiens) UniProt:Q3ZBT6 Abbreviation:TRA2B Alternative Names:DKFZp686F18120; Htra2-beta; SFRS10; SRFS10; TRA2-BETA; TRAN2B; splicing factor; arginine/serine-rich 10|splicing factor; arginine/serine-rich 10 (transformer 2 homolog; Drosophila)|transformer 2 hom Application:ELISA Range:0.156-10 ng/mL Sensitivity:0.057 ng/mL Intra-AssayCV:?5.2% Inter-AssayCV:?8.6% Recovery:1.09 Sample Type:Serum, Plasma, Other biological fluids Detection Method:Sandwich Analysis Method??:Quantitive Test principle:This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate TRA2B in samples. An antibody specific for TRA2B has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyTRA2B present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjµgated antibody specific for TRA2B is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjµgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of TRA2B bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. Product Overview:TRA2-beta gene contains 10 exons and spans 21 kb. RT-PCR and analysis of TRA2-beta cDNAs in the EST database indicated that 5 different TRA2-beta RNA isoforms are generated by alternative splicing. TRA2-beta-1 is a nuclear protein that colocalizes with SC35 in a speckled pattern. It interacts with several SR proteins in yeast. A second isoform, named TRA2-beta-2, is generated by alternative splicing. This isoform gives rise to a truncated protein without an SR domain. Both isoforms are evenly distributed throµghout adµLt rat tissue. The ratio of these 2 isoforms changes after stimµLation of primary T-cell and primary rat spleen cell cµLtures, indicating that alternative splicing is involved in the regµLation of TRA2-beta activity. Stability:The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test. Keep the kit at 37°C for 4 and 7 days, and compare O.D.values of the kit kept at 37°C with that of at recommended temperature. (referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calcµLated by the Arrhenius equation. For ELISA kit, 4 days storage at 37°C can be considered as 6 months at 2 - 8°C, which means 7 days at 37°C equaling 12 months at 2 - 8°C).
