Test Principle

This kit uses a sandwich ELISA technique:

1. A monoclonal antibody specific to testosterone is precoated on the wells of a microplate.
2. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and testosterone binds to the capture antibody.
3. A biotin-conjugated detection antibody is added, followed by Streptavidin-HRP.
4. A TMB substrate reacts enzymatically to produce a color proportional to testosterone concentration.
5. Absorbance is read at 450 nm and the intensity corresponds to the sample concentration.
