PRINCIPLE: MycoView test is based on specific metabolic properties and natural resistance of each mycoplasma specie; Ureaplasma spp. - Hydrolysis of urea and resistance to lincomycin Mycoplasma hominis - Hydrolysis of arginine and resistance to erythromycin. The growth of the two species is visualized by a change in the colour of pH indicator from yellow-orange to red or pink.
